Encore Literary Magazine is an online journal of original prose, poetry, interviews, reviews and general literary excitement. It is sponsored by Encore Books and Records of Montreal. The magazine seeks to highlight both new and established authors, with a particular focus on the Montreal English-language writing scene.

Michael Carbert is a past editor of Carousel magazine and currently a contributing editor to Canadian Notes & Queries. His work has been featured in various publications including Books in Canada, The New Quarterly, Maisonneuve, and The Montreal Gazette.
